With great joy we announce that Fr David Price currently Deacon in the Diocese is being ordained Priest in Horsham and 11.00am on 28th November. If you wish to go please let  Fr Richard and Fr Renee know.

Also on the 18th November Fr Greame Perkins will be collated as the new Archdeacon of Ballarat.  Fr Peter Yeats will be collated the new Archdeacon of Evangelism and Mission.  We pray for them at this time.

Electoral Roll  We have recently sent letters to all people on our parish electoral roll asking if they want to recommit themselves, as over the years names have come onto our roll, but through many reasons, as our congregations have changed the roll has not. This roll affects the way we plan and organize the work of the parish.  If you have not received a letter or have recently joined us and would like to be on the electoral roll please fill in a form available from each of the Parish Churches and return it by Advent Sunday.

Disaster Appeal  Parish Council have decided to use Care Australia for anyone wishing to give money in support of the people of the recent natural disasters.  Should you wish to make a donation please put it in an envelope marked “Disaster Appeal” and place in the offertory plate.

LOTS AND LOTS of vases of flowers are needed on Sunday 22nd November

RAFFLE—To aid expansion of the Memorial Garden. Volunteers needed to sell raffle tickets.  Thursdays and Fridays—3rd & 4th, 10th &11th, 17th & 18th December. Roster available

We are considering a new inclusive name for the Parish.  Our  first suggestion is the Parish of the Holy Spirit.  If you have any thoughts or suggestions please see either Fr Richard or a member of the Parish Council.

Mothers’ Union has Christmas cards for sale.  $6.00 a pack.

Christmas Tree Festival  Christmas Tree Festival Stall  A working bee to bake for this is to be held on 2nd December.  If you are able to assist please come along or if you would like to donate butter, mixed fruit or eggs, please leave at the back of the church before 29th November.  If you would like to order cakes, puddings, mince pies or shortbread let the committee know.

Wanted—Christmas Trees  If anyone has a Christmas tree they will not be using this year, could we please use it for the Christmas Tree Festival?If you can help please contact  Jannie Ryan on 5572 4990
