 News from Parish Council  Geoff Ryan—Community Development Manager of Victoria in the Dioceses of Ballarat for Anglicare, spoke to Parish Council members and representatives from our various committees about the work he does.  It was agreed to arrange for Geoff to come to our Parish next year to investigate what needs in the community we can be involved in.  Geoff works with local councils, schools, police and other groups to find where needs in communities are most needed.  He would then work with us to develop  a program.

At 10.30am on Wednesday 28th October there will be a Eucharist at Hamilton celebrated by Bp Michael Hough, preceded by Morning Tea at 10.00am.  The Mothers’ Union will be having their Diocesan Meeting after the Eucharist followed by a bring and share lunch.

Macarthur Womens’ Guild—Coffee morning of poetry and verse readings.  Monday Oct 26th at 10.00am in the Macarthur Anglican Church Hall.  Entry $5.00.  Stall, lucky door prize and more.  Everyone encouraged to bring something to read or recite.  A great morning out.  Don’t miss it.  Contact Marjorie (5571 1060) if you wish to share travel.

The Pastoral Care Team will meet with Fr Richard on Wednesday 21st October at 4.00 pm in the Meeting Room. Those who help with Hospital Visiting, Home Communions and Pastoral visiting, and those interested in joining the Team, are encouraged to attend and stay for Evening Prayer afterwards.

Electoral Roll  We have recently sent letters to all people on our parish electoral roll asking if they want to recommit themselves, as over the years names have come onto our roll, but through many reasons, as our congregations have changed the roll has not. This roll affects the way we plan and organize the work of the parish.  If you have not received a letter or have recently joined us and would like to be on the electoral roll please fill in a form available from each of the Parish Churches and return it by Advent Sunday.
