NOTICE BOARD.

Pleasant Sunday Afternoon.  Hamilton Bible Society is having an afternoon on August 23rd at 2.30pm.  This will be at St Andrew’s Presbyterian church and funds raised will be used to help the Bible Society provide the Word of God to four South Asian countries, which is the major appeal of 2009.  Jan Pederson will be speaking of the work done there and local artists will entertain.

There are booklets available at each church to read before the afternoon if you are interested.  “Sower” and “The Great Race” (for children).

A BIG THANKYOU to those people who brought the food,  the ladies who prepared and plated everything up so nicely and anyone who helped in any way for the M.S.O.

A good pair of gloves were left at Christ Church last Sunday.  Please take them to the Parish Office if you found them.

As of the 1st September the pathway from the lych gate past the Garden of Remembrance will be closed to traffic.  Not only will this keep this area for people to move freely and safely in and out of church and to visit the garden, it will reduce costly damage to the underground service supplies which run beneath this path.  Thankyou for your understanding.
